SERVICE DOG TRAINING WORKSHOPS

At this time, there is no scheduled workshop series for 2013

Scent training workshops have undergone a reformatting!  Now called, Service Dog Training Workshops, they are broken into three, two-day workshops.  As we considered input from pervious students, this reformatting took place.

There will be a series of three workshops, requited to be taken in sequence.

The first workshop covers public access and obedience.  Every service dog requires the skills to be confident and comfortable in public.  This workshop will teach you how to help your dog through these lessons.

The second workshop covers basic scent training, which includes collecting samples and teaching your dog scent recognition.  Along with scent recognition, you will learn how to pair an alert behavior with scent recognition.

The third workshop covers advanced scent work.  The skills learned here will teach you how to perfect night alerting, vehicle alerting and public access alerting.  Along with teaching these alerting techniques, opportunities to bring issues you are having with your dog, from obedience to alerting, we will help you through issues.

**There is no workshop series set for 2013 at this time***

To go through all three workshops, the total cost will be $900.  These will be spaced out through a year.  Unfortunately, at this point, we are unable to offer financial assistance - NO Exceptions.
